Could someone please either upload or give a link to their Windchill Rehost Utility 3 or whichever is the current release?
Trying to rehost from one machine to another.
We have PDM Essentials and the documentation calls out to go login and go to the downloads page but it doesn't exist there. Even had a help ticket open for 2 weeks but they were never able to help.

Does anyone know what the command is (if there is one) to edit reports in the query builder using the Windchill shell?
Ideally I'd like to be able to completely replace a report already in the Query Builder with a .qml file, but still keep the original report ID.
If this isn't possible, does anyone know the command to just upload a new report to the Query Builder in the form of a .qml file (I'm fairly sure that this is possible as I believe I've done it before)?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Specifically, I want to create a shortcut that resides outside of PDMLink such that then when a user clicks on it it will:
I am primarily asking for Change Notices, however, if it can also be done for initiating new documents, or other types of objects in in PDMLink (Such as Change Requests, etc) that would be useful to.
Does anyone know how to create this shortcut in Windchill?

We can surely do Save As of Part and CAD document. When I try doing a Save As on pdf document, I get ' Error: Invalid object type for Save As'. Could anyone please tell me if there is a preference to allow Save As on Non-CAD documents.
In the report , we can use the report calculation formula to calculate such as percentage. but we can't sort by the percentage. Our customer hope they can display failures in the report from high to low by the percentage.(one (Number of failures of assembly /Total Failures of the product).
Steps to Reproduce
1.Open FRACAS Design File.
2.Choose 'Formulas' from 'Insert' menu, WQS FRACAS appears formula form(as figure1. in attachment).
3.Edit 'Count ' and 'Percentage' calculation formulas(as figure 2. figure 3. figure 4. in attachment).
4.Load the calculation formulas to the report.(as figure 5.in attachment).
5.Print review the report.
The result picture is shown as figure 6.

i have created one activity say (submit design doc) and added user1 as owner and user2 as resource, now i am adding a deliverable to this activity and i want user2 to add deliverable , but when i add user2 as owner in deliverable , then automatically activity owner is changed to user2, how can i manage that activity owner is user1 and deliverable added by user2

Currently we have Windchill Projectlink which is implemented to manage the Project across the Cross Functional teams. I have populated all the activities and RACI has been done and now we have it running in a perfect condition
My concern is:
1. For every document being uploaded and added as deliverables (documents are essentially, word, excel, igs, pdf and ppt and not other data), we have to route it manually for approval or release.
Is there any possible way to get it done automatically for the documents uploaded in Projectlink.
Reason for asking:
Sometimes the users upload the document and set the track work to 100% before getting it to approval stage. Also I would like to ask, if an activity is set as complete, but as an admin I know it is not. Is it possible to revert it back and make users to rework on it.

I am using a stand alone Java app to run IE tasks. (Java app based on RunTask.java example in WC 8.0 Customization using IE Tasks) I am not using a Java SOAP client. I think the issue has something to do with task delegation and using a dispatch task but have not found an example that provides a clear picture.

I am installing Windchill11.0. and all of the packages are latest version from PTC software download web site. when attempting to copy service pack to the staging folder, it says "Invalid CD selected. Please select another CD". And all of the others copy correctly. the service pack I download is “PTC Windchill 11.0 Service Pack - Critical Patch Sets Bundles M020 =>> MED-61006-CD-110_M020_M020-CPS04-Bundle.” any ideas?

Does anyone know if there is a way to block search returns by state or other criteria but still allow a user to navigate and look/download the objects if needed? We are in the middle of the tier 4 redesign and at some point would like to not have any tier 3 info return when a user (certain users only - maybe by role) search for something.

All of our servers are moving to the cloud (Amazon web services - AWS). We currently publish SolidWorks using a server configured as Win 7 - works perfectly.
There seem to be some restrictions on configuring an AWS WV host with a workstation OS. The WGM installer simply won't start on a server OS. We've asked for an AWS host with Win 7 (or 8.1 is listed as being supported) with no luck from IT so far.
Question: For everyone who currently publishes SolidWorks data, how are you managing the CAD Worker for SolidWorks?
I'm nearing the end of the development of a new Change Notice workflow with a new set of Change Activities. It's similar enough to the one we've been using for the past couple of years that I figured 'no problem'. Of course, now that I've arrived at the place where I have to do some testing, I can't even get off the fist step.
Workflows are created.
Policies are set.
Teams have been verified.
Lifecycles are defined and linked to the correct workflows.
Types are set.
When I start a new Change Notice, I get a choice to use the old one or the new one. If I pick the old one, it works as expected. During the creation of the Implementation Plan, if I pick the old one, it works as expected.
During each of these steps, both the old and new choices are shown (showing the Policy is working as expected).
When I start a new Change notice but instead pick the new workflow from the pull-down menu, it uses the old workflow. When I pick a new workflow for the Implementation Plan, it uses the old workflow.
I've gone over and over different aspects, but obviously I'm missing something else here. I'm hoping another set of eyes will point me in a direction of something I forgot to check on.
I need to retrieve some data from Windchill into ThingWorx. To begin with, am trying to fetch the Windchill role of a given user, into ThingWorx either using REST services or InfoEngine Tasks (webject xml). But the REST APIs found in Windchill documentation have less or no samples. Please help us.
