I am not able to subscribe a drawing.
Hi all,
When I right click on drawing and click on subscribe a new window pops out. Then when I click on find again a new window pops out.
Getting.docx is a file which I am getting and expected.docx is the expected file. Please help.

How to remove hard type?
Hi.
I created hard type as described in "Creating the Class" chapter of customization guide. I used command: "ant -f bin/tools.xml class -Dclass.includes=ru/mypackage/hardtype/** -Dclass.force=true".
Now i want to remove this hard type. I deleted all generated files in codebase/ru/mypackage/hardtype/
MethodServer falls on start with exception:

DataUtility for attribute display
Hi.
I have datautility to specify view for soft attribute.
I configured it by site.xconf

This datautility works fine on "Type Attributes" panel in "Details" tab.
But it does not work on "Attributes" tab in "Structure" tab.
Why?
How can this problem be solved?

Removing Products
Our company is still in the process of getting Windchill setup to fit our needs. One of the things we have come across is how the original person setting up Windchill setup our Products. We have a few ideas of what we would possibly want to do for organization. I have been looking around but am not able to find a way to actually delete a Product from Windchill. I see how they can be added but is there a way to remove them from the server?

What's the method to replace a file, in a workspace, with a previous version?
I know you can use update to go up in versions but how can you go backwards?
Example:
I have an assembly A1 with component 123 at version C.5. I want to change my assembly A1 to have component 123 at version B.10.

Critical Microsoft Update for IE10 make PDMLink 10.1M040 having problem
Hi
on 9th July 2014, Microsoft released a critical update for IE10. After this got applied, our users complained that PDMLink did not work correctly.
Comment from one of our users
When clicking on the information icon for anything, document, Promotion Request etc and window pops up saying "Windows Internet Explorer has stopped working & needs to restart".
Once page comes back (with the page I was after loaded) a message on the bottom of the page saying that something on the webpage is causing the webpage to shut down (or words to that effect).
Has someone else experienced this ? What should we expect. A new patch from Microsoft or PTC ?

Windchill Mobile query
Hi everyone,
we are in the process of implementing Windchill Mobile application in oyr organization and through mobile app we were able to complete the task.
in our scenario we used have lot of customization in user task page like showing other objets link,report link etc...
for such kind of custom stuffs were not appearing when we see the task page in iPAD or iPHONE but the same is visible in desktop PC.
can anyone help us how to achieve this stuff

How to add a new menu item with link to url under Quick Links menu?
Hi All,
I am not a strong developer yet, but your help in this would make me to take a step towards that.
What do I need to do if I want to add a new menu item with link to a url under the Global Quick Links menu that appears at top right section of standard Windchill PDMLink header i.e. between Help and Clipboard links?
I tried to add a link to NavigationRB.rbinfo file but something went wrong. Where should I add a new manu link in this RBinfo file? Also, what changes do I need to make in Navigation-actions.xml and Navigation-actionmodels.xml files?

the latest Iteration of that part I am getting this Exception( wt.vc.wip.NonLatestCheckoutException). can you help me out from this.

Benefits and Justification of using Java as the File Upload and Download Mechanism
Anyone have thoughts or feedback on using Java as the primary source for the File Upload Mechanism and the File Download Mechanism? File Upload will add the Java Applet drop target to any file upload window. While funcitonal, it is somewhat limited in scope, takes a bit of time to load and requires users to "drop" the file on the target.
As PTC continues to work on removing Java applets from Windchill, I am curious if anyone has an ongoing need to use Java as their primary download mechanism? It does offer the ability to customize the download process, but is this still a requirement anywhere?
PTC would like to remove Java as an option for both File Upload and File Download Mechanisms in the next major release now that HTML5 drag-n-drop is implmented and Internet Explorer support is just around the corner. Are there any major concerns if this occurs?
PS. I posted a poll about download some time back if you'd like to review. I typically use the Windchill Document Management group for these questions, but this topic seemed generally applicable to a larger audience. Come on over and join the group if you'd like.

wgm 10.2 and solidworks 2013/2014
Running 10.2 M020 with SW2013/2014. We've notice an issue that the "view information" page load blank for any content, commonspace or workspace. Literally loads a blank page. Can still access actions, but can't see anything. Thoughts?
